
The Sons of the American Legion (SAL) is an organization within the umbrella of the American Legion. It is open to male spouses, dependents and descendants of American Legion eligible veterans, living or deceased. Sal Squadron 10 is an integral part of the Post 10 family, without which we could not perform our mission. The Squadron was formed on October 26, 1992. The members of Squadron participate in and support many of the programs of Post 10, have their own service interests, notably the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation, and are at the core of most of the social activities at Post 10.

2025 Jimmy Bryant Memorial Spring Golf Tournament
The 2025 Jimmy Bryant Memorial Spring Tournament will be held at Prince William Golf Course on April 25th, 2025. There will be a 0830 shotgun start after a very moving opening ceremony. Even if you aren’t going to play come out to watch the ceremony. It’ll bring a tear to your eye.
Get your teams together and bust off the rust at the range, it’ll be here before you know it. Registration and sponsorship forms are available below. Complete and return them to the post as directed no later than April 18th.

John J Chada Memorial Golf Tournament
The John J Chada Golf 2024 Tournament, conducted by the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 10, was held on September 13th at the Prince William Golf Course.

Sergeant First Class John J. Chada, United States Army (retired), died on September 11, 2001 during the Pentagon attack. A two-time Vietnam veteran, John followed his long military career, serving in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, with more public service. He worked as an administrative assistant for the Department of Defense Information Management Support Center.
He was a member of the Manassas Moose Lodge, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion Post 10.
Born September 13, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was two days short of his 56th birthday at the time of his passing.
Sergeant Chada was laid to rest in Section 64 of Arlington National Cemetery, in the shadows of the Pentagon.
